Today in Gothenburg ended the 6-days run (with integrated and 6-12-24-48h runs). 18 men and 9 women joined the race. The organizer profited from the short-term refusal of the of 6 day run in Hamm/GER. Some runners moved instead of this to Sweden.
The Dane Lars Christoffersen with 854.10 km won before the French Christophe Laborie (751.17 km) and the Dane Per Brölling (723.43 km). On the places 4 to 6 follow directly the first three women.
The Australian Sarah Barnett with 713.94 km, Christine David (formerly Bodet) from France ran 703.72 km, on place three Martina Hausmann carried out 682.55 km.
Participants from Germany were Ruth Jäger (539.47 km), Andrea Möhr (unfortunately given up after 25 h with 111 km), Werner Gleissner (404.42 km) as well as Jeffrey Norris gone blind in 1992 after an accident (373.03 km).
Jürgen Schmicker from Waldniel won the 48 h run with 217.54 km.
