Die IAU sucht den Ultraläufer des Jahres 2010 (und natürlich die Ultraläuferin) - und jeder kann bei der Abstimmung mitmachen. Es gibt dazu zwei Mailadressen, an die man zw. dem 26. Januar (heute) und dem 04. Februar (nächste Woche Freitag) seine Stimme schicken kann.
Mit auf der Liste der nominierten Frauen steht mit Julia Fatton (ehemals Alter) ein DUV-Fördergruppenmitglied, das 2010 unter anderem neuen deutschen Rekord über 48 Stunden lief. Hier ist ihr Eintrag in unserer Statistikdatenbank

Dear Friends,
On behalf of the IAU, I would like to thank, everyone who participated in nominating individuals for this award. I will, in advance, thank you again for participating in the voting process that follows.
The nominations are in for the IAU Athletes of the Year and we are listing the short-list below in alphabetical order. Each name follows by a description on the athlete’s performance. The descriptions only list the athlete’s IAU labelled race performances, as submitted by the nominators.
Voting Rules are as follows:
The voting process will commence on January 26th 2011 (12am EST --- Canada) and end on February 4th 2011 (11:59pm EST --- Canada). The two athletes (male and female) selected will be announced in the week of February 7th.
The important points to be noted for this award are as follows:
• Any individual can vote for an athlete to be considered for this award
• All you need to is to send the name of your choice to Dirk and Nadeem (emails listed below)
• A limit of 1 vote will be placed per email address
